Q: Why won't my photos upload to my listings?

A: There are a couple reasons for a photo to not upload to your listings. First is the size of the photo. With the advancements of digital camera technologies and higher definition, pictures sizes range from about 2.1 to 4.0 MB in size. These sizes are to big to tranfer upline to the site. Solution, resize the photo to an 800 X 600 size format. This also helps the dial up user to load a picture faster and also decreases the size of the file.

A: The second possibility is the format the picture was saved as. I must be a .bmp, .jpeg, or .gif. These are recommended formats and give optimized size and definition for the picture file. Many photo and paint programs have the ability to save photos to these recommended formats (ie. Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, etc.). Sometimes just cropping a little off the photo will also decrease the file size to an uploadable medium.
